Pathetic all around.

Bundled up. Lots of places to be. A little cold didn’t stop these kids from taking a spin around their Brooklyn neighborhood in the 1940s.

Spotify has laid off thousands in recent years, while reportedly paying artists $0.003 per stream.

Spotify profits rose 28% in Q3. Its CEO is worth $9.8 billion. It's making money off ICE recruitment ads.

Don't you think it's time put a wrap on corporate greed and exploitation?

I’m on a mission to make common sense actually mean common sense again. At least in the context of cities and better city-building.
It’s common sense to proactively address/mitigate climate change.

It’s common sense to reduce pollution, emissions and particulates in cities.

It’s common sense to proactively cool cities, quiet cities, clean cities.

It’s common sense to move more people in less space and with lower public costs.

Filed a story about femicide in the digital age, highlighting a UN report that examines gendered killings of women & girls. The story marks the horrific Dec. 6, 1989 mass femicide known as the Montreal Massacre, & notes how the killer’s rhetoric echoes in the ‘manosphere’ today. Read it on Friday.

Pretty cool halo around the Moon in Virginia just now. Ice crystals high up in the atmosphere bend the light to form the ring and can also break it up into colors like a rainbow, though the colors are usually faint. That's a hens and chicks plant lit by the Moon in the foreground, BTW.

Yesterday the President fell asleep, yet again, during a televised fake Cabinet meeting staged so that each of his courtiers could heap praise on him, praise for which he couldn't stay conscious. He woke up just long enough to spew racism. Why is this not being treated as an emergency? >

It turned out to be quite tricky and, frankly, damn dangerous, so I went back to regular paper.
