I just had 10 days in Ireland and I feel like the frog who temporarily escaped the pot of boiling water.
I’m just going to let the art speak for itself. If you’d like to learn more, or join our mission visit www.ighmf.org Thank you to Carey Weber at Fairfield University for arranging this amazing exhibit and video.

It rains every significant day on this journey to build a home for the collection. Almost as if the heavens know the weight of what we’re trying to carry forward.

They sure did get those Tate boys out of Romania, though.
Still processing the emotion and energy of last night’s Gala. What a night for community, history, and hope. For now, here’s a moment that says it all — a stunning violin performance by Arav Amin. #IGHMF #IrishCulture #GreatHunger
us—the Irish in America who still believe in decency, democracy, and dignity. We have not abandoned the values that bind us to our heritage. Ireland must not abandon us either. We are working every day to restore the values that truly made America great.
As an exiled child of Ireland, I understand and support the need for Ireland to stand firmly with Europe in these uncertain times. The vision of Trump’s America is one many of us here are actively resisting, and not without cost. But I must implore Mr. O’Riordan and all in Ireland to also stand with
Nero fiddled while Rome burned.
Here he is today, deeply concerned about economic hardship caused by his tariff scheme.
But will still defend him publicly till death. #clueless.
Maybe it was autosigned?
Any American media reporting this?
If it were not for the French, Americans would be Canadian.
Loretto & I spoke at Groton Public Library on CT’s Irish Famine history—on the same day funding was cut for The Famine Early Warning Systems Network. Ignoring history dooms us to repeat it. Hunger & displacement still plague the world. We must do better. @celticscribbler.bsky.social #famine
Looking forward to this.
Chile, Cuba, Grenada, Venezuela, Vietnam, Native Americans, among others, all looking at this tweet with a raised eyebrow. 🤨

If you have any way to do so, I hope you can all see the new exhibition at The Met Museum here in NYC: Caspar David Friedrich- The Soul of Nature : 08 Feb- 11 May . His technique and understanding of light , of course, but his themes, his ideas, his expression- just sublime .
Thank you for your service.
But they have the best people!!!!…….As my grandma Hannah would say “they’re scraping the arse of the barrel.”
First they came for the immigrants, and I stayed silent
Because I was not an immigrant.
Then they came for the poor, and I stayed silent,
Because I was not struggling.
Then they came for the journalists and protestors, and I stayed silent.
Then they came for me
And no one was left to speak.
I believe they manufacture chaos to divert attention from their own inability to govern. By keeping us divided, they evade accountability and exploit the system for power and profit, leaving us to deal with the fallout.
