I think somehow only seeing the digitized and reprinted copies of mangakas’ work it’s easy to forget that it’s…idk, that a real person drew it somehow? Was incredibly charmed seeing every brush stroke and white out mark close and personal at this art exhibit 💌

I also think sometimes people mistake an inability to profit from art of any kind as altruism. Like. The whole issue of fanfic writers being unable to profit easily without some level of legal issues. Or artists without the means to get merch sales going easily. If you can, most people would.

Social media makes people so willing to speak on things they simply do not understand too. Like love of the craft is no less present when in the end one of the dreams of most creators is to be able to make a living doing That and not working for someone else.

It's so deeply important to me that the ultimate fix-it for Wolfwood's story is simply him asking for help. Like it's something so simple yet so difficult when you've spent your life believing doing so is showing some inherent flaw in yourself!! You can't do everything by yourself!!
