Birthday stream went well. I had a good time. I had an okay and relaxed day, which doesn’t seem much, but is better than any of the days I’ve had leading up to it.

And that’s okay.

I’ve had an extremely vivid idea for a really long time. And the fact I’ve had the same idea for actual years suggests to me it’s worth pursuing and I could cobble it together.

My game dev experience has been OSTs so far but Godot seems accessible enough.

But just… time. And other work. Ugh.

I’ve got writing done, more to do.

It’s fun to imagine. But as it stands I’ll just power through my burn out with my commission list.

There’s been some thought I had where I quit music for a year or two and just do nothing else but pursue other creative endeavours.

I liked making pixel art for a bit.
I liked learning game dev.
I wanna pursue these things more.

Hell, I wanna put together 1 small game demo and see what I could do.

Exactly. It’s like people only understand autism or divergencies through metaphors that make it palatable to them when in reality it dilutes it down to be “relatable”, not realizing it takes away seriousness or weight from it.

And when you finally hit a limit, the label is “flaky” and “lazy” bullsh

Even worse is when the only way to convey that is in a way that pads it, while not being entirely truthful.

“Oh my social battery is empty” or shit like that because that’s the only remotely close thing people will understand (or more importantly, respect).

Because they don’t understand “masking”.
