Tarantino blasting Hunger Games in comparison to Battle Royale isn't surprising, but like I dunno. They are definitely similar but the vibes are pretty different. I happen to enjoy both for different reasons. Especially in film, a lot of ideas come from other things. Maybe she was inspired by it?
