damn turns out the hold up in getting a new james bond movie is that the writers all fucking suck
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

his primary intellectual failing, so far as i can tell so far, is that he sees all failings as a kind of hypocrisy. And that's the sort of thing that can really block both insight and development.

i'm curious if by the time i get to the end of the mordechai richler reading project, he'll actually have positive views of anything or if it will just be a process of him tearing his mind apart by only seeing how things are bullshit
