I've been playing and (mostly) running Blood on the Clocktower since October 2020. For most of that time I've ran weekly Friday games, which I now also stream on Twitch.

When you play Clocktower with strangers you establish histories that you can connect with a year later. “Sorry where did we meet?” “I was the Washerwoman that saw you as Sage but you were actually the Spy” “Oh but you were pithagged into Drunk and got Fang Gu jumped and then we won together!”
there is at least one genuine solution to finding friends as an adult with genuine connectivity that is both lightweight AND meaningful, and that's playing Blood on the Clocktower. I have at least 10 new friends in my life from 18 months ago and another 30-50 friendly acquaintances

Final Three Con was fantastic. You should attend if you get a chance. I'm not experiencing so much con drop thankfully, but it'll be a bit before a recover my energy. I'm already thinking of things to do next year!

It's almost as if not having due process has bad outcomes.
'Admitting' they screwed up and saying they won't fix it is not admitting an error so much as letting people know we have no problem sending you to hell for no reason whatsoever. This is a brag, not an admission.

AEW Revolution: I think people are blowing the ending out of proportion (and also skipping over the actual closing moments of the show). It wasn't great, but it's not near as bad as people are saying.
With that said, it's undeniable that Toni/Mariah should have gone on last.

For some time now I've tried to not make my Clocktower games linger too long (2 hours max) but lately I've made an effort to speed up my games even more and I've loved the result. Max of 4 or 5 minutes for whispers, even in large games.
The game was designed for this and it's great.

I love a good Clocktower discussion, but it's been clear multiple times over that the game's subreddit is quite often a terrible place for it.

Great thread. The idea that YouTube is rewriting our language should really have more people up in arms.
I tried to watch a video about a book. The book was about The Holocaust.
Due to fears of YouTube’s policies, the host wouldn’t use any words associated with The Holocaust, which itself was only called The History.
And of course, they said “unalived” instead of killed.
Like… fucking hell.
