Aw thank you! Yes Shawn can easily be placated with Reese’s cups. Have a great weekend as well Pattye!
Happy Halloween! Shawn hates Halloween hence the purposeful scowl lol. I’m loving all the adorable trick or treaters. It’s super windy though! Stay safe all! #Tgif #Halloween #NYC #Queens
Oh that’s good news! Yes 🤞
Oh I missed this. Thank you for posting. I’m really happy to see this!
Thank you! No they were actually all over. We did the loop around the island and honestly saw birds everywhere! Fort Jay, near the ferry and the hammock grove had the most however.
Also at Governors Island this morning: field sparrow, Savannah sparrow, chipping sparrow and swamp sparrow. #birds #usbirds #NYC #birding
Some birdies from Governors Island this morning: golden crowned kinglet, blue headed vireo, palm warbler, yellow rumped warbler. #birds #usbirds #birding #NYC
Ohh thank you! Even though I have been birding for some time I always enjoy learning from others!
Oh that’s terrible re the off leash dogs!! Luckily it was pretty quiet when we were there, not many dogs or humans!
Yes! I was really happy to see her! I didn’t see Hanabi or Stella although we were there around 12:30. It was nice to see her in her tree. I’m happy to hear that she is being cared for!
iPhone video but we enjoyed seeing Astoria, the Wild Turkey (who now calls Battery Park her home) peacefully preening after we went birding at Governor’s Island. #Turkey #birds #NYC
Ohhhh!! I have to check this out!
Oh I see that. Funny!
We also stopped by Calvary Cemetery this morning and were delighted to see a flock of chipping sparrows flitting around the headstones. #Birds #Queens #nyc #birding
A sapsucker, mute swan and female and male wood ducks from Kissena Park this morning. #birding #birdwatching #birds #nyc #queens
