This tin canister was left in a London ditch about 2000 years ago, it contained a cream made of refined animal fat combined with starch and tin oxide, likely a face cream.
Yes, those are traces of the last owner's fingers!

50% increase in diagnostic tests vs. last year.

At the same time waiting lists are down 6 months in a row.

Slowly but surely Labour are getting the NHS working again
Did you know 4.5m NHS appointments have taken place in Community Diagnostic Centres in July-February, a 50% increase on the previous year?

It means people get their appointments more quickly, and at more convenient times and locations.

The Labour government is looking to expand this even further.
Latest health data reveals thousands of patients now seen quicker
Thousands of patients are securing appointments quicker every day as part of the government's drive to build an NHS fit for the future.

"The UK has the world’s third most developed start-up ecosystem" and London has more venture capital firms than Pret branches.

The problem is the start ups tend to move to the USA. If Trump makes that less attractive, the opportunities for the UK are huge.

7) Noteworthy: UK

Very strong words on UK - the UK is the first country besides Ukraine and US to be mentioned in the foreign policy chapter as a bilateral partner, even before France (included in the EU chapter). Clear willingness in Berlin to continue the positive trend in bilateral relations.

Five years ago today it seemed that the golden age of naval idiocy had disappeared forever.

That was before the Venezuelan patrol vessel Naiguatá managed to recapture some of this spirit by fighting - at least at that point - the dumbest action of the 21st century.

These are choir pits at Whalley Abbey. The only remaining example in England.

The choir was built on top and the extra depth was meant to add reverberation to create a deeper sound.
