I knew about Burzum before I ever listened to him so it was easy to ignore him.
I also realize that my ignorance of black metal has meant that I have been able to avoid a lot of tough choices.
I honestly don't care how good it may be. I'm just not going to listen to it.
I am apparently someone who can't separate the artist from the art.
The Smiths are so damn good but my enjoyment is always tainted by Morrisey being such an asshole. It's pretty clear that I can't separate the artist from the art.
It’s also been my experience with The Smiths.
I'm pretty sure that I miss out on a lot of good music because I can't tolerate band members being dicks. I know that Megadeath is really good and has made a lot of good music but Mustaine annoys me so much that I just never listen to them.
Can't tell you the last time I listened to Megadeath.
I love threads like this for that reason!
As a sports fan you know that you must repeat that pattern for as long as it works.
I'm listening to Skeleta for the first time in a while and I just had the image of how awesome it would be to be in a bar full of Ghost fans singing along with this album.
I initially thought you meant the band and I was concerned.
Does anyone else have to throw their fist in the air and shout "I Want Out" every time it comes up in the song???
First one that I already know. This song is so good!
I was lukewarm on this one until the guitar solo. Damn. That's a good one!
I've never been able to really get into power metal. So, since I trust you, this thread will be my soundtrack for commercial breaks while I watch tonight's World Series game. This song is working for me.
I’m trying to wrap my head around Shohei Ohtani last night. Nine plate appearances and reaches base every time. Four hits (two doubles and two home runs) and five walks (four intentional).

There’s nothing more badass than having the opposing team afraid to pitch to you.
I agree on both counts. And disrupting Lay Park for student housing will lead to more resentment.
I really like this project but the impact on Lay Park needs to be addressed in a very clear way. We don’t need another example of what can be perceived as student housing taking preference over residents.
“Do not take the bait, do not take the bait, ….”
I can’t bring myself to “like” that but I do want to acknowledge it.
Everything Else is doing that to a lot of us.
