Budget reallocations revealed cuts to Social Policy grants affecting services for youth, elders, migrants, & those facing employment barriers. W/ $5M new funding for VPD Project Barrage, I urged funding for proactive interventions too.

No ABC would second my amendment.

In order to support some of the otherwise not recommended grant recipients (in particular but not limited to) migrant and refugee services, food insecurity, youth and seniors programming, and programs supporting people with persistent barriers to employment; that have otherwise been defunded by the $1 million shortfall from the City's Social Policy 2025 Grants operating budget."

People forget - the money collected from tariffs stay in the government and will be a personal purse to Trump. He never has, and never will care about the increased living cost of the people.

The whole point of tariffs is for Trump to rake in as much money as he can within the 4 year window.
