My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

They're de-banking people for kink content online now

They'll come for you and your interests next - there's already been movement against vtubers in general, and games like Corpse Party are having their western releases canned over concerns about this stuff

Get loud before it's too late
Friend tried to donate to my Throne, flagged by fraud detection at Bank of America — bank identified the transaction as specially for “giantess voretuber Ana Valens”

I suspect I faced those Patreon / Ko-fi dings b/c financial institutions have me, specifically, on record as a high risk recipient!

This is DEFCON 1 priority, y'all. Call your senators, reps, call your friends and tell them to call their senators and reps about this. Call your grandma and tell her to call her senators and reps about this.

What we have here will be *gone* if these bills pass.
Congress is attempting to fast track KOSA and more than a dozen bills that would restrict internet access, censor speech and increase surveillance under the guise of protecting children.

Committee hearings begin tomorrow.
Lawmakers to consider 19 bills for childproofing the internet
KOSA is back, along with more than a dozen other bills that will erode free speech and privacy in the name of protecting kids.

That much money financing games by actual game developers would have financed 150+ of the highest budget AAA games, and the several orders of magnitude more jobs to produce them. Instead it was burned failing to produce advertiser-safe Second Life.

The fact that many GPs don't believe people with mental health conditions will not be news to those of us with mental health conditions who have had to deal with these cunts.

Kudos on the BBC for continuing to manufacture consent to take away our rights and healthcare though.
'Life being stressful is not an illness' - GPs on mental health over-diagnosis
Hundreds of GPs in England tell the BBC they are also worried about a lack of help for patients.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

The thing to understand about "age verification" laws is that they are not just for kids

The only way to "stop kids from doing xyz online" using age-gating is to demand a government ID (or invasive biometric face scan) from EVERYONE.

This means associating your gov ID with EVERYTHING YOU DO ONLINE

Hello Friends - I know December and January are tight financially but unfortunately illustration is my only source of income so if you have any projects that need a skilled and fast hand - I am available basically all month. I do also think maps or character art make for a great Christmas present!
Hi #TTRPG #OSR #DnD people - I am looking for cartography/illustration work in December/January! If you're looking for maps for your adventure module, or for your home game, send me an email at [email protected]!

My rates are available on my website which can be found in my bio!

something i barely ever see people talk about but is insane to me is that idea of censoring subtitles for uncensored audio.

Are people with audio processing disorders just more infantile to you???

BREAKING: This is huge news, the EU's equivalent of the 🇺🇸Supreme Court's 2015 Obergefell v. Hodges ruling.

🇪🇺Court of Justice just ruled all 🇪🇺countries must recognise same-sex marriages granted in other member states.

This effectively legalises gay marriage across 🇪🇺
