i think tech and ai positive people are going to be in for a big shock when anti tech and anti ai sentiment becomes a major part of leftwing politics going forward especially as datacenters continue to destroy communities and raise electricity bills

Finally realized why I despise games like Call of Duty & Battlefield -- b\c at their core it feels like they're catering to the same reptile brain cosplay desires that makes people sign up to be ICE agents.
Everyone who loves those games is going to angrily disagree, but that's how it looks to me.

Finally realized why I despise games like Call of Duty & Battlefield -- b\c at their core it feels like they're catering to the same reptile brain cosplay desires that makes people sign up to be ICE agents.

I still remember it vividly. I was working in a record store at the time and we sold the PS2. Several people offered us snacks and pies if we could hold on to one for them. Something we gladly accepted. Still a cracking console with some of the best games of all time.
The PlayStation 2 launched in the U.S. 25 years ago today.
