I hope before Val died in the 70s I hope he had a little Malibu Barbie he bought himself bc he had no toys when he was younger and was never able to enjoy girl toys and I hope he used his artist talents to make her little clothes to match his ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is true. And it can also apply to real life too. You get very close to somebody and you can form a deep bond with them yet… you know they have their demons but you always try to ignore them just so you can always see the good in that person because that's all you WANT to see (1/?)
I will say tho if I'm right and Angel was presenting functionality to appease or hide his relapsing from his friends it's extra fucked up that they didn't really notice and even seemed to *prefer* that version of him because it brought them closer to "his" (cough Charlie's) goal.
