It's really not OK from a political or moral standpoint that it took 10 years, many of them with Democrats in control of the WH or Congress and 3 prez campaigns against Trump, to get Epstein emails like this out in the open, @ryanlcooper.com writes.

The recent release of more emails is only the latest in about 10,000 stories implicating Donald Trump in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuses. What were the Justice Department and congressional Democrats doing wi...

But he couldn’t call for Schumer to step aside. A real profile in courage.

Couldn’t agree more. As of this writing, not a single senator has publicly called for Schumer’s resignation.

Short version:

Trump: I'm dismantling the Constitution, building a paramilitary fascist army loyal only to me, blowing up the US economy for my billionaire cronies, and destroying the planet.

Schumer: Okay, but you have to extend subsidies for corporate health care

Trump: No

Republicans constantly attack their Congressional leadership, and they remove leaders who fail to achieve the objectives desired by the base.

This 'infighting' hasn't been a 'distraction' or 'weakness' for them, it has produced victory after victory, including control of all three branches.
Oh yeah - never a convenient time to have some real talk about the dynamic that the Democrats in the Senate are led by bunch of chumps. Certainly not after they created the conditions for yet another base demoralizing surrender.
This kind of activity is just what you should want to see, if your are a Republican, eager to see the opposition distracted by self-destructive infighting.

“Inside the West Wing, Trump’s aides greeted the end of the shutdown as evidence that the White House’s take-no-prisoners approach to the crisis worked: Sure, it took longer than expected, but Democrats were always going to cave.”

There will be another 60 vote Friday* on the garbage shutdown deal. If we can convince just one Senator from the 52 republicans and 8 Dems that voted yes to flip, we could still stop this. Please jump on the phone today, call them, and share this widely.

“Chuck Schumer was the central architect of this fiasco. Even though he negotiated the deal, he himself said on Sunday that he won’t vote for it. He clearly prefers to let other Democrats take the fall.”
