I’ve been on the fence abt writing a piece on this for the last few weeks, but it is absolutely clear that the administration & its GOP allies think they will never face a legitimate election ever again. And Trump said exactly that as a campaign promise, so maybe fucking believe them?
not saying we won’t have elections again—but none of what they’re doing in the sack & pillage of the institutions & constituencies that sustain Americans’ security, health & economic prospect makes sense if you ever intend to face voters in free& fair contest again
