I should make a necklace holder but like… something larger with a different animal head. This can probably be a bracelet holder though. Completely solid.
It was a risky move but obviously, it survived.

I hung out with my friend in her studio room at her house, we painted together.

My car was broken into.
The column of my steering wheel is partially broken and my bag, with all my ceramic tools, were stolen.
I don’t think I’ll be posting for a few weeks.

So, I’ve finally got some stuff glazed and put into the kiln. Usual process is bisque firing all my pieces until I get to a certain amount (5 items or more, since my pieces are pretty big) before I glaze. Well, I have a few things glazed. Hopefully, they come out of the kiln at this or next week.

So, I’ve finally got some stuff glazed and put into the kiln. Usual process is bisque firing all my pieces until I get to a certain amount (5 items or more, since my pieces are pretty big) before I glaze. Well, I have a few things glazed. Hopefully, they come out of the kiln at this or next week.
I am going to be taking about a week break from ceramics, if a little longer. Last month I was churning out stuff, I just never take photos because it’s tedious.
Either way, I’ll be back. Just need a break so I don’t crash and burn. I’m getting used to my new schedule at work + new responsibilities.

This is going to be a lid (WIP)… for the giant dragon bowl. It’s a turtle dragon.
Also, haven’t been posting much since I’m waiting on my cone 10 stuff to be fired + got a small promotion at work, busy with training and IT issues with my first week (electronics despise me).

I carved into it, can’t add more than four photos but oh well, it will have to do.
This thing weighs around 25 lbs of clay; hollow legs, tail, and head.
Might add a “lid” as well. This will probably be in total around 40-50 pounds of clay total depending on embellishing.

Green.
Made another dragon bowl and glazed it. Someone said it looks like jade. Call me the master of glazing cause uh— thank you heh. I combined three different glazes with layering and splattering. So I’m glad it came out nicely. This is prototype 2.
