Old post I just came across but oh my god this is cursed, color infrared shots by stacking Vision3 50D (without remjet) on top of Rollei Infrared

I got a Polaroid Palette HR6000 today so I had to get a computer set up with a SCSI card and install the software and whatnot. So then I turn the thing on and it's detected by the computer. Then I suddenly start smelling the rancid fish smell of leaking capacitors. God dammit. I love 90s electronics

Thinking about that bit from Hidamari Sketch lately where they're playing with a Polaroid camera and Miyako is shocked about how much the film costs. Funny how well it's aged. 160 yen per shot is semi-accurate to current pricing AFAIK. And they're talking about Polaroid too and not Instax

Some more fun and crappy lenses: Took a couple addon lenses meant for point and shoots, taped them mouth to mouth (or ass to ass?), and stuck it on my fastest lens

One thing I've been wanting to talk more about (but haven't for some reason) is RA4 paper reversals. I feel like my process for that is pretty consistent but I'm not quite happy with the results most of the time. The 1st developer is the most difficult part in my experience

Kinda wanting to get some lomochrome purple to have some fun with, especially since it's technically the only way to do color channel swaps in the darkroom lmao

Trying to remember how to use fusion 360 to mount my comically small slides

I've been wanting to experiment with/torture some fresh Ektachrome but it's way too expensive in 35mm... so instead I bought a Minolta 16 and 100ft of Ektachrome E100D in 16mm. Here's what it looks like cross processed in ECN-2

Shot a roll of "Fuji" 400 and developed it (sort of) normally just as a point of reference. Decided that I'd go exploring by driving around aimlessly, completely forgetting that I live in purgatory. Then I went home and took pictures of my dog and my chickens. Exciting

Saw a bunny the other day while my chickens were out and about. If you're wondering what the colors are like on digital cameras without any infrared blocking filters (and after setting the white balance), here you go:

Was trying to find a tweet showing the comparisons between the old DVD and BDs for Serial Experiments Lain, and I found some funny storytelling

Red/blue channel swap my beloved

Here's the first accidental double exposure I've had so far with my usual film camera (Canon EOS Rebel II) which happened because the battery died right after the shutter closed. When I replaced the battery it remembered where it was in the roll but didn't advance and exposed that frame again

Got some new "Fujifilm" 400 and naturally I reversal processed it. The colors were quite bad so I had some fun playing with color grading

Reversal processed C41 film has such a weird look to it that I kinda love. It took me almost 2 hours to develop this single roll and even more time scanning and color correcting but man it's worth it.

A month ago I went to the park to shoot some black and white film and also saw a cat

It's fascinating to me how Azumanga Daioh has such uniquely insane shitposting while the show itself is about high schoolers goofing off in class

I'm absolutely shocked that a 50+ year old lens is both my fastest AND sharpest (at f/4 and smaller)

Shot on a Canon R50 with a Pentax Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8
