Nuclear is dead in Australia. First, it’s illegal. To legalize it, advocates would need to capture the House and the Senate, which won’t happen in this decade. But…
This is all of Australia's (NEM + WA) energy mix (12 month average). Renewables just surpassed 40% & coal is heading down towards 50% (at 52% currently). Because this is a rolling average, the current energy mix (annualized) is already below 50%. But we'll see it in the rolling average soon enough.
