I am watching someone try to insist that fandom as a whole is super queer and gender nonconformative and that cisheteronormativity is so unique and specific only to het ships that they need to study it like a bug to emulate another fic writer and I am just.

I think it would be good enrichment if you gave a bunch of librarians the chance to hunt James Patterson for sport
it’s not that i think women authors should get a pass for writing bad books because they’re women it just does not escape my notice that the various women purveyors of mass market novels on sale in the airport are hunted for sport daily whilst james patterson and his ilk remain at large

I have a lot of thoughts on the uptick in usage of the 'c' word in the US and how it's connected to the deliberate attempts to eradicate women's rights and erode gains from feminism, but there are too many people who relish using it for conservative women they hate to accept that it's a bad thing.

Happy Veterans Day, but most of all to the active duty guys who have made it their duty today to go to as many restaurants and places as possible on their day off. Only the strong will make it through more than one.

I have been traveling and today I present to you...the thing I saw in the Frankfurt airport.
Is it efficient? Undeniably. Does it probably work better than the normal way? Oh certainly. Produce less of a mess? Probably?
