However, things begin to shift when a human girl crosses the veil. She gives no name but approaches Pax as if she knows him. Their first conversation is short, confusing, and ultimately intriguing as Pax quickly becomes obsessed with the only interesting thing to appear in Faerie in centuries. But as time wears on, it becomes increasingly apparent that this human is there for a reason. The more her actions affect Pax’s world, the clearer it becomes that the two rules Pax has lived by for so long, haven’t always been the truth. Things used to change in Faerie, and he might be the reason they stopped.

since the "google is now training gemini on your email contents" thing keeps bumping around here: it's _not happening_. I say this not to defend google but because I know a lot of people that have broken their filtering and made their lives much more annoying from sheer misinformation.

From a reddit post discussing ICE moving into Charlotte
I live in Chicago, here are some tips for dealing with the Black and Tans: Keep whistles on you to alert the neighborhood of ICE activities. Distribute whistles if you can. Post signage where people are taken, "ICE kidnapped someone here" is a powerful message. Stand firm in crosswalks or use your vehicle to obstruct ICE movement. Invite friends and family from rural areas to enjoy your cities, show them the only violence there is caused by the federal government. Post signage to alert your neighbor of the ICE activity. Record everything they do. Ask for warrants. They won't have one, but making them admit it is important. If they are on your private property, firmly tell them to leave. Sell them nothing and don't let them use restrooms. Protests. Protest. Protest. Every delay is a life saved. Remember, people aren't being deported, they are going missing.

This is my approach to writing.

There will always be people who don't like what I do, and that's fine. I don't think I'll ever hit literary heights either, and that's not my aim.

What I'm interested in is telling the stories I want to tell, in a way only I can. Someone out there needs that.
