This is the facility that I and many others have been protesting. We’ve been hit, thrown, gassed, and shot with pepper bullets but none of that holds a candle to what is being done to people *in* the actual facility.

Read this thread. Don’t look away. Keep your eyes and the pressure on Broadview.
A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

Omg, you can't just celebrate the mass deportation of folks you disagree with. It's a disgusting and frankly racist take - you're okay with deporting POC if they don't align with your values? Sounds familiar.

HOLY SHIT
House Republicans smuggled this👇attack on the federal judiciary into their reconciliation bill. Courts rarely require plaintiffs to post security, so this provision, if passed into law, would render a vast number of existing judgments—including Boasberg's contempt order—effectively unenforceable.

Fair enough, I misunderstood.

So, instead it's just an effective tax penalty against those in the middle & working classes making $160k or less based solely on them not being tipped income earners.

"I have resisted going as far as you have done in your criticism of the Israeli government. I resist no more... we are in agreement."

Piers Morgan to me on his show today. I cited retired Israeli general Yair Golan saying Israel is now killing babies as a hobby.

Something that I've believed for a while seems to be coming true: with Trump as the face of the Palestinian genocide, other countries will find it much hard to ignore/sweep under the rug, in the ways they did with Biden/Harris.

I just realized this is the "if you're not at the table you're on the menu" chick. Writing articles about "We don't have time for purity tests or petty fights" and then immediately about-facing to use Biden's diagnosis to attack leftists (ick on SEVERAL levels)
How many of you could have spent your time going after the felon who’s been deporting kids with cancer instead of beating up on the former President who has an aggressive form of cancer himself?

Absolutely sick. I will never trust you or your leadership again.

On this day in 1937 Franco's airforce – aided by Nazi Germany and fascist Italy – bombed the Basque town of Guernica, killing hundreds of civilians.

When antifascist journalist George Steer uncovered Germany’s role, it prepared the world for terror.

Nearly a tenth of the population has a favorable view of the Black Plague. I don't know what to do with that information.
As a Jew, I don't love that 32% of Americans have a favorable view of the Crusades, but it does explain a lot!

It is time for Trump to put up or shut up in Court.

A FEDERAL JUDGE said “no evidence before the court connects Abrego Garcia to MS-13 or any criminal organization.” No one is vouching for one man. We are standing up for EVERYONE’s right to due process under the Constitution.

Did everyone conveniently forget how SCOTUS literally said "yeah actually the president CAN do things illegally and no one can stop him"

And that same exact SCOTUS thinks a 9-0 ruling is going to have any effect on the guy they literally put above them, legally
The court system is a coequal branch of government. If the administration isn’t going to follow their orders it’s time to hold some senior officials in contempt.

It's not explained in the photo but in their own definition they defined ε as 4 and φ as .25. 4 x .25 is 1 and 1 x m is just m, so the whole bottom half of the equation is meaningless and exists only to make it seem like more complicated thought actually went into this.

Obama: Imagine if I had done any of this. Imagine if I had pulled Fox News’ credentials. Imagine if I had said to law firms that you will not be allowed into government buildings.

It’s unimaginable that the same parties that are silent now would have tolerated behavior like that from me

This asshole raised prices and ruined your retirement savings, and now he's out golfing for the rest of the weekend.
