Among those fired or forced out, the WSJ has reported: Fannie Mae’s chief ethics officer and general counsel, about a dozen members of its ethics and internal investigations unit, and the acting inspector general at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which oversees Fannie Mae.
Breaking WSJ:

Fannie Mae watchdogs who were removed from their jobs had been probing if Trump appointee Bill Pulte had improperly obtained mortgage records of key Democratic officials, including New York Attorney General Letitia James, according to people familiar with the matter.

I never thought I'd live in the time of migratory military in the USA.
ICE/BP’s next targets are reportedly Charlotte and New Orleans.

Two things:

1) If they had the capacity to hit many cities at once, rather than pick on one or two at a time, they would.

2) Moving south seems to confirm speculation that they’re leaving Chicago because it got cold.

The fact that this, and every other Trump pardonee who has subsequently broken the law, has not ended Trump's political career, that it barely even registers on the national discourse, underlines just how far we are from a functioning democracy that values accountability.
A man pardoned by Donald Trump for his role in January 6th - he assaulted Capitol Police officers with bear spray & a metal whip - has avoided prison for child sex crimes because of the president’s sweeping pardon, despite pleading guilty to soliciting what he believed was a 15-year-old girl for sex

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.

More and more I genuinely believe interference with their travel plans was the impetus. He uses people starving and people not being able to fly as examples in one sentence, as if they are *at all equivalent.* And what about the millions who will lose health insurance!
Kaine on why he thinks just getting a vote on healthcare is a win: "We're the minority party, but everybody will get to see who is standing for them when it comes to lowering their healthcare costs"

This I swear on the blood of my ancestors:

I shall never vote for Schumer again, and will campaign for his primary challenger.

Same goes for Gillibrand if she doesn't call for him to step down.

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

Great job, Dems!
JFC is this bad. Straight up cash transfer to the shadiest Republican senators and an assault on the rule of law.
Buried inside the deal to reopen government is a provision that would give Senators private right of action to sue for millions in damages over their phone records being analyzed by Jack Smith's team.

Sen. Angus King: "Standing up to Donald Trump didn't work"
November 10, 2025 at 1:38 PM
Literally too stupid to insult.
Angus King: "This initial strategy didn't work. And now we have one. We're gonna have a guaranteed vote on the ACA, and it may not succeed. I grant that. But a reasonable chance -- 10, 20, 30% -- is a lot better than 0% which is where we were."

Call a Senator that voted no tonight and demand that they vote to remove Chuck Schumer as Senate Minority Leader.

He has weaponized his incompetence against the American people by allowing 8 Dem Senators to cave to an authoritarian regime. We need real leadership, not the oligarchy’s lapdog
Schumer can be removed from his Dem leadership role this week - 23 Dems (and/or independents) just have to vote to depose him

And they should, given this is his fault.
This is a lovely sentiment but Schumer isn't up for re-election until 2028 and he knows this. At which point he will be 77/78. There's no mechanism to recall a sitting senator AFAIK.
