Are farmers going to be on welfare for all 4 years of this Trump term, or just for 3 years like the first Trump term?

We get you like voting for government handouts, but we are $38 trillion in debt.

Funny how Netflix had no choice but to raise subscription fees, interrupt movies with ads, & crack down on password sharing, but they’ve got enough $$$ to buy Warner Brothers

Meanwhile the trains themselves are still owned by private rolling stock leasing companies which extract huge amounts of £ from the industry (& shovel it into offshore tax havens)

YET AGAIN THE RUSSIANS SHOW ZERO WILLINGNESS TO COMPROMISE

Putin makes out with his glib smugness, that nothing is wrong, the Russians are inevitably going to win and it’s all just a matter of time. He doesn’t say anything about the economy and attends an investment forum the government organised

Surely not? The RW thugs pretending to care about the safety of women and children and defenders of "British values" are now targeting the very charities supporting them. Worth reading the article. Tory backbenchers are cited too (anti NT and Barnardos) They disgust me!

pumped oil with nowhere to go. The entire industry is clogging up and income is collapsing at an unprecedented rate. Estimates this month are a 35% drop in sales. Discounts on oil are now as low as $40 per barrel if you can risk a pick up. But there’s nothing wrong, nothings going on, honest!

THE WAR ON THE GREY TANKER FLEET IS A SUBTLE ONE
Russia has access to some 500 tankers, around 200 it owns directly while the rest are leased from various owners around the world who are happy to have Russian captains, multi-national crews and shabby old ships.
Most of these tankers

So, Farage who’d previously failed 7 times to be an MP, decided that in Clacton he’d rely on his old Brexit friends - cheating (and racism) - to get him his win.
With millions now pouring into Reform, it’s beyond time to properly investigate this grubby little man

Average real wage stuck at 2008 level.

Energy, water, broadband, rents, grocery, dentist, vets prices rising at more than CPI.

Poorest 20% pay higher proportion of income in taxes than the richest 20%.

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

Nor could that boat, before it was bombed, reach the United States. That’s important because it refutes the laughable claim of “imminence” necessary to wrap the strikes under the auspices of a lawful armed conflict.
I cannot imagine the level of moral bankruptcy to describe the actions of people whose boat has just been hit by a missile from nowhere (this was the FIRST such strike) and who were most likely making a desperate attempt not to drown in the ocean as trying to "stay in the fight."
Q: What did you see in the second strike?

Cotton: "I saw two survivors trying to flip a boat -- loaded with drugs, bound for the United States -- back over, so they could stay in the fight."

So far, Trump has:

- appointed a chief of the DoJ with instructions to prosecute all political enemies who criticise him publicly

- appointed an FBI director who comes to office with a political enemies list who he has vowed to put in jail

The only question is, when do the murders start?

"In 1930 Germany is a liberal democracy with elections, parliament, & the rule of law. Just 4 yrs later, freedom of speech is over, most of the political opposition is in jail, & the govt is in the hands of murderers. This is the story of how democracy died"

Heidi Alexander: "We're putting the railways back into the service of passengers, not being focused on profit & shareholders"

So why aren't you nationalising the private rolling stock leasing companies? And why doesn't the same argument apply to e.g. the private water industry?

Presumably, Reform will claim this was all years ago, and while he's completely innocent, "everyone" had massive presidential style election campaigns in Clacton back in the long distant er summer of 2024

Heidi Alexander is asked, the same arguments made for nationalising the railways apply to the water industry, so why aren't you taking water back into public ownership?

The answer, of course, is that this govt is on the side of the profiteering private water companies, not us.

- the bluecheck doesn’t verify identity
- publish a DB of advertisers
- allow bona fide researchers access to the firehose

he won’t do those things because it would show that his website’s revenue is built on scams and political disinformation
