I posted a 17 second video of empty bookshelves that went viral.

After DeSantis called it a "fake narrative" I became the teacher fired for the video of empty bookshelves.

I then went to testify before Congress oversight about the undemocratic abuse of power in FL for @maxwellfrost.bsky.social

I really love being a parent. 🥰

When the topic of religion comes up at school my son tells his friends that he believes reality is a simulation and it "makes them reconsider their lives" 🤣

He then told me about this game he plays at school called "Earth Review".

Here is an obituary I wrote with my mom.

Writing my dad's obituary really, really sucks.
My dad passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 66 while traveling the world next to the love of his life of over 44 years. My family is truly heartbroken by the hole this tragedy has left as a husband, father, and grand"god" in our lives. The world is not the same without you!

I've been churning over the Trump-Greenland-Denmark stuff and how now that Ozempic is approved by insurance (a good thing) a tariff war would expose the "good" insurance industry to decide to cover and pay or directly deny coverage to the people with his direct ear.

These are men who have never had the level of self awareness to think about "what do I do with my hands for pictures".
you know the first thing i noticed about this is how vance, cotton, and barrasso are all standing exactly like trump

Nothing has given me faith in humanity quite like the time we were out doing community defense stuff during the 2020 uprisings and a "looter" came out of the drug store next to us and carefully arranged infant care items on the curb so they'd be there for whoever needed them
@rebeccasolnit.bsky.social in her book A Paradise Built in Hell talks about how people in a crisis will often ignore the usual social rules and hierarchies to help each other, sometimes by, for example, taking needed emergency supplies from stores. 1

i’m kind of amazed at how this is just the crudest, most obvious n****rbaiting you can imagine. “the people you don’t like, yeah, they are responsible for everything bad.” and it works!
