M*A*S*H was perfect TV because it realized the film's meanness and misogyny was a weakness. The characters needed to grow. Letting Major Houlihan change from being a tight-assed scold subject to misogynistic pranks to a fully formed woman was necessary. Loretta Swit made it happen naturally. RIP.

Am I wrong to think seeing this on a daily basis, now, is conditioning us to view it as 'normal'? It ISN'T - this is wrong on so many levels I just don't know what to say, do, or go. THEY'RE BUSTING THEIR ASS TO MAKE A GD LIVING AND THIS IS THIS IS THE CONSEQUENCE?!
