So sad to hear of Sal Buscema's passing. Got to work with him a few times and he was terrific to work with. Huge fan of especially his SPEC runs with both @gerryconway.bsky.social and @jmdematteis.bsky.social showing incredible range and skill and that's just a FRACTION of his career. RIP, Sal.

I was such a huge fan of #ripsalbuscema
when I was writing and drawing my GN jinx I did a bit where we saw a version in a style as close to his as I could get. Amazingly about 10 years later, thanks to @tmb11779 he did us the courtesy of doing basically the same gag himself for new avengers.

what an achievement this is. wow. thank god apatow trained his entire life to make these comedy docs. he's really, really good at it. the opening line/ premise is a perfect way in and the last bit is a stunner. oh, the Lynch stuff!
