Changing a character feels like losing a part of myself—like saying goodbye to a version only I knew.
..But maybe that’s part of it—letting them become who they’re meant to be, not so much of who they were.

The more I consider "Echoes of Lumira" as a whole (and not just Book 1), the more I want to ask myself, "When the veil of illusions lifts, do we see beauty or terror?"
