Daily I chose either to read the news, feel informed, & as a consequence feel physically sick about what is happening with our national politics OR live blissfully unaware by not reading the news & focus on what is in my little sphere I can control. I don’t know how to do both. Anyone else?

Just to note. January 23, 2019 there was a vote to reopen government (HJ RES 28, roll call vote 46) when the govt had been shut down for 30 days.
Mike Johnson voted “no” on that.

You should have asked him how the SAVE Act does not violate the 19th Amendment: “The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.” If men don’t have to provide the same documentation, it’s gender discrimination
