Rep Shaheen lied about the amount of support, only 5 member cities currently officially support the resolution. Rowlett rescinded their original de-funding resolution after a concentrated effort from the DART board to listen to their needs and address challenges. They have done this for all cities!

Last line in this Hochul statement is the most important: Not only are the feds taking over the Penn Station project (have fun!) and recombining the Penn Expansion and Penn Modernization into one (square one!)... the state is pulling the $1.3 billion it had dedicated to the project.
