<div class="field field-field-text"><p data-end="1185" data-start="907">Gaza’s Government Media Office has condemned the international response to the worsening humanitarian disaster, saying that just 73 aid trucks made it into the besieged territory on Tuesday, far below the minimum 600 trucks per day that humanitarian groups say are urgently required.</p>
<p data-end="1330" data-start="1187">In a statement the media office described the flow of aid as completely inadequate to address the famine gripping the Strip.</p>
<p data-end="1479" data-start="1332">Officials also condemned Israeli airdrops of humanitarian supplies, claiming they were dropped into active combat zones under military supervision.</p>
<p data-end="1726" data-start="1481">“We witnessed three airdrops, which combined did not equal the load of two truckloads of aid,” the statement read. “What is happening is a farce in which the international community is complicit through false promises or misleading information.”</p>
<p data-end="1872" data-is-last-node data-is-only-node data-start="1728">The office called on world powers to stop offering symbolic gestures and instead ensure full, safe, and sustained access for life-saving relief.</p>

<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Health officials issued a new warning that at least 600,00o children are at risk of 'permanent paralysis' in Gaza due to the blockade on all aid supplies, including vaccines, as the Israeli military launched one of the biggest waves of strikes in Gaza for weeks on Tuesday.</p>
<p>Gaza's health ministry announced that a UN-backed polio vaccination campaign meant to target children had been suspended, putting the enclave at risk of the revival of a crippling disease that once had been all-but eradicated.</p>
<p>Officials said in a statement quoted by Al Jazeera that the health consequences could be catastrophic, leaving 602,000 children vulnerable to "permanent paralysis and chronic disabilities".</p>
<p>"Children in Gaza are at risk of serious and unprecedented health complications due to the lack of adequate nutrition and drinking water," the ministry added that Israel has imposed a total blockade on all supplies to Gaza since the start of March and relaunched its war on 18 March.</p>
