Fight like Rosa🔥

Seventy years ago today, one woman sat down and changed the country. Her resolve lives on every time we refuse to back down from injustice.

On this, the 70th anniversary of the arrest of Rosa Parks, which led to the Montgomery Bus Boycott, I'm re-sharing this post from last year's MLK day. jacquelinehoutman.substack.com/p/before-the...
Before They were Heroes
Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King, Jr. put up with Jim Crow buses . . . until they didn't.

I use old leg warmers as gaiters when shoveling snow and I wore pink hi-tops at my wedding.
Things I still own:

Leg-warmers
Sparkly gym clothes
A pink gym headband. (Really)
A Walkman
A boom box
Floppy discs
The shoes I wore to my junior high prom (they still fit. I think)
Chucka boots.
Ancient pink hi-top Keds.

And so much more…..
They are selling stirrup leggings again.

I repeat: THEY ARE SELLING STIRRUP LEGGINGS AGAIN.

File that under: things you never imagined would come back.

POLL TIME: what is your all time favorite bird? (Can be flightless as well, ahem).

Bonus points if you say why you love them.

The Ambriola Company’s FDA-posted recall notice said the recall is limited to grated Pecorino Romano cheese”
