My parents raised me not to tolerate racism, sexism, heterosexism, antisemitism, jingoism, classism, ageism, ableism... (and the list goes on). Call it morals, ethics, values, or just plain basic decency. Maybe call it a belief in fundamental human rights and an abiding commitment to love over hate.

We had over 4000 folks turn out for our small town's "No Kings" rally ... our town's population is just over 2500, so this is fantastic. I felt SO MUCH BETTER attending this with other people who love this country and deplore what's happening to it.

Yesterday, we made history. Around 7 MILLION people across the United States stood up to say #NoKings, with allies around the world in countries like Japan, the United Kingdom, France, and Australia joining us in solidarity.
