6 years ago I started a side project to build a web accessibility tool that prioritises simple reporting and quick feedback loops so that teams can fix a11y regressions before they affect users.

I am so proud to say that side project is now finished, and A11y Pulse is live.

If predictions about LLMs being the go to prototyping tool for Web UIs are true, that means we're effectively stuck in 2023 with UIs made with React + Tailwind, and I can't help but be really really sad about that

I agree with all of this, especially how important it is to learn the fundamentals.

I will say if you've enjoyed using React in the past and are feeling overwhelmed by how different "modern" React is, then I'd strongly recommend picking up Preact instead.

I took the day off work to hang out with my 11mo son. We went for a run, took the bus home, went to his swimming lessons, and had a mini picnic. Everything in the world is new and exciting to him, and it's so precious seeing the way he takes it all in.

There's something profoundly beautiful about billions of people around the world staring at the same ionised gases in the atmosphere. Like knowing that someone you love is looking at the moon or a specific star at the same time as you, but on a global scale
