I don’t often bake, though I once did frequently. I volunteered to make rolls for #thanksgiving. Dusting off a favorite old bread recipe, I kneaded and baked, and I think I did okay.

Some thoughts on widgets, more on making than acquiring widgets, but acquisition of widgets is fundamental to producing them, so you get the point.
It’s All About The Widgets
That taught us to want widgets, and they taught us how to make them, but widget making was soon gone, and we are left with widgets trapped in some nightmarish late-stage capitalism feedback loop.

I am heartened that even in my small red town, mutual aid groups are springing up to help feed people and tend to other needs as they arise. But organizing against oppression always makes me happy.
