My inlaws are ill, so we aren't going over there for Thanksgiving. Also my oven is majorly broken (temperature is off by at least 150°), so im making slow cooker carnitas. Very excited.

I dont remember what podcast it was, but John Gabrus mentioned that these new video podcasts with slick production are just non union TV shows. Really made a lot more sense to me after that.

I dont remember what podcast it was, but John Gabrus mentioned that these new video podcasts with slick production are just non union TV shows. Really made a lot more sense to me after that.

I was watching the movie From Beyond, starring Jeffrey Combs, and I heard the line "giving them drugs, taking their lives away," and sat straight up on the couch. That line of dialogue is in a techno song from the 90s I've heard 100 times!

Thanks for the reminder! This is one of the most perfect pop albums front to back. Hands down. There was a two period when, before bed every night, my kid listened to EMOTION and ran around the house full speed, singing the whole time. 😊
there's a big problem with the culture here on bluesky, and it's that not nearly enough people are posting about the 10 year anniversary of Carly Rae Jepsen's groundbreaking and timeless album EMOTION being this year and how awesome that is

Scuse me but I am a Landlord and take pride in providing a nice place in central London for people to live. How do you think renters would find homes without landlords? Are you waiting for the council to build them?
