While I agree with Jess for the most part, I do not think that 4-1 defeat at Man City in the 22-23 season was what inspired MA to take the pragmatic approach to the next level.

Being careful is something I respect.
But getting too pragmatic in your home ground when you do not need to is something I cannot take.

That really felt like a game that Arsenal and Mikel Arteta just could not lose.
