The Women and Equalities Committee have released a comprehensive report on The Rights of Older People highlighting critical issues in the UK for older people. The report serves as a crucial reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by older people and the need to uphold their rights and dignity.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Judge Brian Doyle. He was President of the Employment Tribunals at a time my caseload was nearly all Tribunal work and I was fortunate to attend a couple of informative and practical sessions he ran. He always came across as a lovely man.

There are over 3500 happy Next employees out there, who have just won their equal pay case in the Tribunal comparing store worker pay with warehouse pay. Next have said they will appeal. This is a difficult area of equal pay law, where different jobs are compared to see

It’s been a big day in our house. A mad week really as my eldest collected her A-level results which led to a change in direction… so GCSE results for the middle one and youngest (1) today, and an interview for an exciting apprentice opportunity for the eldest. All of them smashed today ❤️
