So. Marvel wrote a story implying one of my favorite comic character, Magik, was SA'd and enslaved by people that had also SA'd and enslaved her as a child.
SA can be written about in comics. But using it as a glorified excuse to turn a character into a villain is gross.

I've had a story in my head that involved a gorgon as the protagonist and I think this might've been the thing to knock the writers block out of my head.

The hate around Caitlyn from Arcane is odd to me. Like people seem to miss the entire plot point about how it wasn't a 'villain turn' but a woman whose grief was weaponized and manipulated. She is a victim of manipulation. That was literally the plot. Did people fall asleep for that part?
