The PBE Copa identity for tonight is for the New York Voyagers. For this program, they become the Manatíes de Nueva York (New York Manatees) The idea here is to tie in with Puerto Rico and Puerto Rican culture and one of the unique animals that swim in the waters of Puerto Rico are manatees!

For today's Copa PBE identity, we have the ironic choice of the Cancun Toros, the team from Mexico that already is steeped in Hispanic culture. So for their identity, they're inverting it by becoming the Turistas de Cancun. The Cancun Tourists.

For todays Copa PBE identity, we have the Detroit Demons becoming the Demonio Azules de Detroit, named as such after famous Mexican Luchador Blue Demon.

For today, our Copa PBE identity is a bit of a simple one. The New Orleans Rougarous are a very FRENCH team so I simply wanted to spice up their look a bit with a new uniform and pattern. Here, they are the Hombres Lobo de Nueva Orleans.

For today's PBE Copa uniform and identity is the Indianapolis Apex, becoming Charro Negro de Indianapolis. The idea behind it being the legend of Charro Negro, a pale, skinny man in a black charro suit who punishes the wicked with rigged games and deals when he rides into town on his pale horse.

The Copa uniform and identity for today is the Outer Banks Aviators becoming the Aguilas de Carolina del Norte. The North Carolina Eagles, named for the eagle on the Mexican flag and the Outer Banks' ties to flight.

Today, we begin the next of my uniform projects, a PBE version of the MiLB's very popular Copa de la Diversion program. The Latin themed rebrand. Starting off with San Antonio, we have the Fiesta de San Antonio. Named and themed after the yearly celebration and parade of the same name in the city.

The final PBE City Connect uniform for this project is for the Boise Raptors. And the theme is an incredibly local design inspiration. In Boise, there is an outdoor art museum known as Freak Alley, where artists paint directly onto the brickwork of buildings in the area.

The PBE City Connect uniform of the day belongs to the San Antonio Sloths! The particular theme of their set is a real hard one to forget. It's The Alamo!

Today, we have another specialty case for the PBE City Connect program. One of the no longer playing identities, the Maui Makos. The theme for this particular team is the real life historical MLB minor league team, the Hawaii Islanders.

The PBE City Connect uniform for today is for the Seattle Sea Serpents. With the theme of the sea and their location in Seattle, the only natural place to go with their design is the Pike Place fish market. The one where they throw the fish around.

Today's PBE City Connect is for the first Canadian team and original team in the league, the Vancouver Vandals. The theme here is potentially the easiest to see. That being a send up of the NHLs Vancouver Canucks, specifically their Spaghetti Skate era.

The subject of the PBE City Connect project today is the Buffalo Surge. The name actually fits with the theme connecting to the city because I went with electricity. Because Buffalo was the first city to have widespread electric powered street lights due to hydroelectricity from Niagara Falls.

The PBE City Connect uniform for today is for the Detroit Demons. For their particular theme, I went with a less known part of Detroit's famous car culture: the custom Hot Rod shows and meet ups in the streets.

The City Connect PBE series continues with the Death Valley Scorpions. Now, because Death Valley isn't a real CITY, it's a bit tough to come up with a theme but the Tatooine scenes from Star Wars: Episode IV WERE shot at Death Valley National Park so I went with that.

Today in the City Connect series, we go international for the first time with the Cancun Toros. Now, the Toros already have a strong connection to their city's roots. But what about BEFORE they were a city? The theme of this uniform is the nearby ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza.

Today's City Connect uniform for the PBE is for the Indianapolis Apex. The theme here is in the proud racing history in Indianapolis. But not on the track itself, that's their regular identity. No, this is for their horse racing pedigree.

Tonight, we have the Nashville Stars and their City Connect uniforms, themed around the common nickname of the town, Music City. Per the request of the team, the hat logo is of country legend Dolly Parton!

Today, it's a now technically defunct team in the PBE, the Sarasota Supernovas. For their City Connect, I went with something that's a little bit of a cheat. It's a throwback to their first identity before they changed, the Florida Space Rangers. Nowadays, they're the Space Rangers again.

Tonight, we have the City Connect for the Providence Crabs. The connection here is to the LGBTQ+ community because Providence, Rhode Island is one of the top friendliest places for LGBTQ+ people in the entire United States.

It was even rumored that Blackbeard himself had a secret hideout on one of the islands! Hence his inclusion on the hat. #pbe

Been a bit but work and the start and completion of a new project has kept me busy. But now, the next series of posts are here. The PBE's own version of the City Connect program from Nike. I figured the idea was neat so I could try it too. First post coming today and more to follow.
