It's a solid message to politicians that we must stand with pro-democracy campaigners, protect them with a hotline to file reports of harassments and intimidations and put human rights before any trade deals.

In the last term, HK's "patriots-only" parliament, 130 bills were passed and the only ONE rejected was LGBT rights. Yet, 60% in the city agree with same sex marriage.

LibDems must stand firm on furthering LGBT+ rights, setting a firm example for human rights.

The ALDE Congress has been over! It is a success since all resolutions we tabled including Fossil free energy, Gaza and Sudan are passed. We made some good contacts with our sister parties too.

We can continue to play gotcha moments on the China Spy Case or get down to work on a China Reset where we treat China & Russia as a strategic bloc which presents a security threat to the for the UK and Europe.
