Last night’s discovery was that when I cleaned my shower a day or two ago, not all the water that escaped the shower was moped up. So the dehumidifier was been extracted from its storage box again. A product which I didn’t think I’d need again after the unfortunate dishwasher leak.

Chris Boucher knows how to write #Blakes7. Star One is almost perfect. Everyone gets something to do. Every character is utilised well. And it ends on a tension filled moment.

I’m just going to steer clear of the news for a bit. I wasn’t dealing well with the news day-to-day with the wars on in the world, but now, just can’t deal with it on constant loop and analysis.

One of my few Xmas indulgences is mince tarts from the baker’s. I’ll buy a pack of six, although will only eat one a day.

#Blakes7 Gambit is so exceptionally camp.
It uses all its characters very well. And all the sets are well utilised. The “outdoor” pieces look properly gritty, and the interior sets are glam and full camp.
I love Avon and Vila in the C-plot.
Also Servalan swans around & “speed chess” is wonderful.

Giving Prime Suspect 1973 a go. It starts with the kinda tired trope of “make the main character identifiable and honest by helping a rando, therefore showing them honest and going out of their way, but late, but a good identification figure for the audiences”.

#Blakes7 Voice from the Past has lots of different ideas. Some interesting direction. But why is Travis even there, he’s almost become the Master at this point.
There’s some good continuity, linking back to “The Way Back”.
But it just needed a bit more script editing to make it cohesive.

#Blakes7 Countdown is a decent enough story. Federation doing its thing. The 7 turning up for their own gains and to help.
