It's deinitely my favorite way to meet neighbors. Judging from last night we have loads of wonderful kids around here.

I feel like I say this every year but I really need people to hear it. Halloween is the best American holiday. Just kids outside welcomed into their world, marching around together, showing off their costumes to the elderly, parents meeting parents, neighbors catching up with neighbors.

#Halloween shoutout to the kid in the Yellowjackets costume; thanks for the spooky show rec. That's a really unique costume. Had so many respectful trick-or-treaters tonight. Even the ones who kicked me to see if I was real kicked very gently. FYI if the thing you kick doesn't react the test fails.😈

takes forever to eat a little food 🎶

A brown widow-shaped spider hanging head down eating a small mealworm whose body is longer than the spiders. The spider's mouth is attached to the worm's butthole from the looks of it. Probably the easiest way to get access through the worm's tough exoskeleton. The short fuzz on the spider's abdomen is very vusible from this angle, like a buzz cut.

5 hours later the same scene with more light so you can tell that mealworm body is now nearly empty like a gogurt tube that needs that last bit at the end squeezed out. The end is the mealworm's head, and a black blob of mealworm innards are sqeezed at the hollow rear end of the worm near the spider's mouth. The hairs on the spider's legs reflect light making their short fuzz easily visible. The spider has also flipped so its head is above its body.

I don’t buy her LEGOs, books, games, etc, and I’m very disappointed in the voice actors who are enabling this by giving her a new audiobook series to use to remove more human rights from amazing people.

When my neice was super small she loved playing with video filters and making characters for them. She found one that put her face inside a piece of bread. In her adorable tiny voice she goes, "Toast, ahhhhh toast is da best!" And everytime I hear the word toast I hear that and it makes me smile.

It must be quiet and fast. I'm not opposed to renting heavy machinery but they must be quiet and able to be operated in low light conditions. For the record, I don't think there's anything unethical about this, but it was recommended I post here and I'm desperate.
The margarine cannot be harmed, no melting or changing its shape of any kind. Afterwards, I will dig it up and whatever is left I will need to either dissolve in some kind of acid or burn it someway that has little clean up. Thank you.

Someone I know is going through this, and despite her partner putting her mom in the hospital she's still defending her partner. I truly fear for the safety of her and her children. The cops are involved and very concerned as well. Fingers crossed that something good comes from it.
