I watched Pom Poko this week for the first time, went to the theater totally blind, and I did NOT expect the emphasis on tanuki balls lmaooo 😭 great film! but yeah that caught me off guard

I saw that movie in theaters like 4 times when it came out, I loved it that much. The IMAX especially looked amazing. I was really into the fandom on tumblr too.
