Trying my best -- often failing, but occasionally succeeding.
I may or may not start selling my handmade poetry zines next year.

At the moment I am working on poetry about my relationship with my mother and how Matty helped me re-parent myself.

It was another hard night for me and Matty.

The spaces between his coughing fits are growing smaller and smaller. When he isn't coughing, we're just worrying about the next coughing fit. The hydrocodone isn't working anymore.

I have scheduled his departure for the next world for this Thursday 💔

My dad -- an immigrant -- supports this. He probably gets off on it. He is a cruel and stupid man.

I've been contemplating changing my last name to further distance myself from him.
This is so messed up… Amnesty International reports that detainees at Alligator Alcatraz (and at another facility, Krome North Service Processing Center) describe being placed in a “punishment box,” a cage-like structure in the yard so cramped that people could not sit, lie down, or

Wow! The Supreme Court basically just said, if you want to do racial gerrymandering, have at it.

Let’s be clear, what Texas did was racial gerrymandering, plain and simple. SCOTUS just opened the floodgates.

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents.

They’ve had their necks kneeled on.

They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.

The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...

Urge your members of Congress to protect our reproductive freedom now.
Protect Abortion Coverage in the ACA
Congress is locked in negotiations over whether to make healthcare affordable or let costs skyrocket. Anti-abortion groups are trying to exploit the debate to push abortion out of reach. We must take action.

People who support ice are enabling their own demise.

This is ultimately about prison labor; about criminalizing poverty and then starving all of us so the wealthy can pay us even less for work we will be forced to perform.
