My grandparents & mom came here from Germany in 1934. Grandpa was very astute. He always said that “It can’t happen here” were fools’ words; that it could & would happen when people here stopped paying attention, or taking their government seriously. We grew up activists bc of that. 😢

I hear you, but I can’t bear to go there before I see whether/how well we rally for 2026. Although it does seem the overlords are even preparing for defections within the magats. I’m grateful my folks & grandparents are gone. They’d be devastated to see what they fought for, destroyed.

Starting Oct. 16, 2025, DHS will require a $1,000 immigration parole fee (adjusted yearly). This applies only to parolees — people allowed to enter the U.S. temporarily for humanitarian or public benefit reasons, not visa holders.

Netanyahu tried to dodge his court appearance by claiming a major diplomatic visit was happening today. That turned out to be false. So he showed up in court and then claimed he needed to leave and rest due to bronchitis.

Confirmed by reporters who were there.

The nicest, sweetest, kindest -and smartest - people I know are going to participate… mostly in the towns & small cities of the Hudson Valley and upper Delaware Valley, where people are pretty low-key and not hyper-reactive. I don’t expect trouble, and hope I’m right. This is scary.

In a WIN for Indiana students, a federal court denies the state's request to dismiss a pro-voting lawsuit challenging a ban on the use of student IDs for voting. The court said pro-voting groups have reasonably shown that the law was motivated by unconstitutional intentional age discrimination.
