You don’t just shoot up the enemy if they’re defenseless and not capable of doing anything.

We need a full investigation for war crimes.

Did you know that before Nixon and Reagan, health insurance companies in America were non-profit? Yep, they screamed about "socialized medicine" and gradually shifted the focus of our entire healthcare system from public welfare to... making bucks off illness.

Paul screeched his way through “There Will Be Blood” and makes that PTA/DDL movie unwatchable.

Quentin Tarantino is 100% correct.

Ann Lowe was the Black genius behind Jackie Kennedy’s iconic wedding gown.

Before the fashion world was ready to credit a Black woman’s talent, Lowe was already designing for America’s most powerful families. Brilliant. Bold. Innovative. Undervalued. And nearly erased from history.

Trump’s power isn’t ending with a bang, just a slow embarrassing nap and a very public decline. Drool and all 🤦🏽‍♂️

We are being held hostage by a senile cartoon villain.
The Trump admin just changed which days Americans can visit national parks for free next year — removing Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth and adding Trump's birthday.

JD Vance is mega villianare Larry Ellison’s pet project.
#ResistanceUnited

JD "Vance" and other Repubs excel at blaming the "other" for the impacts of income inequity, corporate greed and other systemic socioeconomic problems. They don't want to talk about corporations buying up housing and colluding to inflate prices because they're in on the scheme.

I just got both Kill Bill Volumes on dvd but would totally spend 4+hours in a movie theater for The Whole Bloody Affair.
KILL BILL: THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR credits the Bride to “Q & U” — coy initials a romantic kid might carve into a tree. The 4.5 hours before are love letters from a director to his star, to chop-socky classics, and to every film nut spending their day in a theater.

Review: Uma Thurman rules every brutal minute of the 4½-hour 'Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair'
Quentin Tarantino fuses both halves of "Kill Bill" into the kung-fu epic he originally intended, but it's taken two decades for us to get a wide release.

Holy shit, I called it. It IS actually Soylent Green.

Why would Vince Gilligan be so blatantly derivative, though?? Pluribus cannot be that on the nose with its influences.
So, why do we think Carol gasped when she discovered what was in that food storage warehouse at the end of this week’s Pluribus, “Got Milk?”

Could it be…Soylent Green?!

Today, we lost a giant of American architecture with the passing of Frank Gehry, whose iconic designs personified the creativity and dynamism of Los Angeles and California.

May his memory be a blessing, and may his family, friends, and all he inspired take comfort in the lasting legacy of his work.

Fuck Paramount.
Paramount is now reportedly looking to launch a hostile bid for Warner Bros

They feel their $30 a share all-cash offer is higher than what Netflix offered — in terms of cash, stock and the value of the cable business spinoff

Many years ago, in what seemed like a fever dream, I woke up to see this amazing structure while driving thru Bilbao, Spain to visit my big sister. An architecture and Frank Gehry lover was born. RIP

With Dudamel leaving the LA Phil, I’ve been meaning to see him at Gehry’s Disney Concert Hall. Gotta do it now.
As Frank Gehry passed away today, here's my photo of probably his most famous building in LA, The Walt Disney Concert Hall.

What an incredibly massive loss to us all. Frank Gehry was a living genius in our time and designed and built the most unique and astounding structures. He spoke at my graduation and I was so proud to be a fellow alumn with the greatest starchitect the world has ever known. RIP
Breaking News: Frank Gehry, a titan of architecture, has died at 96. He designed some of the world’s most recognizable buildings — many widely regarded as masterpieces. nyti.ms/4rGCYiE
