Looking for references in interaction analysis or other fields on the use of simulated social situations for research—not like the breaching experiment, but rather interactions where participants play their real social roles in a simulated setting. Any suggestions from the #EMCA community? Thanks !

I don’t share it.
It’s cool party trick with a good wow factor, for sure. It really does sound like a podcast, rather than the robot ticket dispenser in the parking garage. Credit due there.
