Dad had two stents placed yesterday and they had to keep him in the hospital overnight, so i made him a bouquet get-well-soon balloons :)

I am back from surgery and have been in recovery for over a week! I have been drawing on my iPad while resting!

The surgery didn't go as planned but still went well! The post op pain and fatigue sucks but I'm so blessed to have received so much encouragement! TY! ❤️

The work I just finished for @elyseexplosion.fyi is a great way to show you all my 💫✨️absolute dogshit process✨️💫. All the finished images were built on the super basic sketches I drew live on a call with elyse. Having even super rough thumbnails to show a client makes final work so much easier.

this was originally drawn on march 21st, 2020. the first page in a brand new sketchbook that i am currently about half way through. i used very cheap oil pastels i bought probably 12 years ago and made some mistakes along the way but i kind of love her.

another piece that's sat unfinished for like 4 years. i wanted to play with dry media a bit and i think it worked out.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.

At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.
