Yesterday I made a friend and watched them get murdered in front of me. I avenged them but didn't have a defib so I had to watch them bleed out while apologizing I couldn't save them. It was a fantastic little drama I don't get in other games

And when I get the drop on someone and make it with their gear, it's really exciting.

But Arc has even better player interactions. Not everyone is kill on sight and prox chat is great. I've made friends in raid and we watched each other's back and got out together...

Well... I've always liked extraction shooters. For me there's a very exciting sense of tension that comes with doing 'mundane' pve with the ever present threat of pvp. Someone could be around any corner. I have to watch how much noise I make and listen carefully for signs of life...

This game looks interesting, but the ad is so offputting... sell your game for what it IS,not what it ISNT. I don't care that its not multiplayer. And frankly any game made by only 2 people probably isn't going to have microtransactions. Sell me on what the game IS

That's such a dumb take from Emma. Even if he didn't know the meaning of the tattoo it would be a sign of an impulsive idiot who shouldn't be in office. I'd argue it's even worse because anyone dumb enough to make long term modifications to their body without research is not forward thinking at all.

I'm not sure how true this is. I've been a member of some game dev discords and everyone is very welcoming. Gatekeepers exist but I wouldn't say more than other mediums. And game jams are fun and not as competitive you'd think everyone's eager to offer genuine feedback and play each other's games.
